  Dr. Patricia Romney
   
  Dr. Patricia Romney is President and Founder of Romney Associates. For the last thirty years Pat has consulted with individuals and organizations throughout the US and Europe. Her clients have included elected officials, Ivy League and Seven Sisters colleges and universities, and prestigious independent schools, as well as arts and cultural organizations, grass-roots human service organizations, and state public sector agencies. The focus of Dr. Romney's work is change. Using her finely honed assessment skills as a starting point for change efforts, she has assisted organizations in the areas of diversity, community building, conflict resolution, and leadership development. She is also a much sought after speaker and dialogue facilitator.

Dr. Romney received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the City University of New York where she won the Bernard R. Ackerman Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Graduate Psychology. She was a pre-doctoral fellow in consultation and education at the Yale University of Medicine, and is currently doing post-graduate study at The College of Executive Coaching. Currently, Dr. Romney teaches part -time at Mt. Holyoke College where she is Visiting Associate Professor of Psychology. She is a member of the Division of Consulting Psychology of the American Psychological Association. She is also a member of the American Family Therapy Academy.

  Paul H. Wiley
   
  Paul H. Wiley is a conflict resolution and dispute management consultant/trainer with the Romney Associates, Inc. consulting company. He has over 26 years of experience in the field. He has a wide range of consulting, training and intervention experience with organizations, including state and local public agencies, universities, and public and independent schools. He has consulted to individuals and organizations on conflict resolution models and strategies, conducted leadership and team-building training for staff and middle managers in schools and human service agencies, and mediated disputes within the workplace.

Mr. Wiley attended Bowdoin College as an undergraduate and received his Masters in Counseling from the University of Southern Connecticut. He received his formal training as a mediator and mediation trainer through the Parent/Adolescent Mediation Training Program, the Center for Dispute Settlement and the National Institute for Dispute Resolution in Washington, DC. Mr. Wiley served for three years on the National Board of Directors for the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR), and chaired their Education Sub-Committee. He was also a member of the Committee on Conflict Resolution Standards and Practices and Co-Chaired the March, 2000 National Symposium on Conflict Resolution Education Research held in Washington, DC. Mr. Wiley currently is an Advanced Practitioner member of ACR.

Mr. Wiley also served for 36 years in public education in the New Haven, CT, West Haven, CT, and Amherst, MA school systems. He was a teacher, program director, guidance counselor, athletic coach and, ultimately, a school principal. He retired in June, 2008 after 18 years as principal of the Crocker Farm Elementary School. Mr. Wiley is currently participating as a new trainer for the National Institute of School Leadership and serves as a professional coach to new principals under the Massachusetts Education Alliance. He is a member of the Massachusetts Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Elementary School Principals Associations and sits on the Amherst ABC Board of Directors.

  Dr. JoAnne Silver Jones, Senior Consultant
   
  Dr. JoAnne Silver Jones has worked as an educator and consultant throughout North America and Europe for the past 30 years. She is recognized for her skill in facilitating cross-cultural dialogue, diversity education and organizational change. Her clients include public and private post secondary institutions, not-for profit organizations, and state and local organizations and corporations.

Dr. Jones received her Ed.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has served as full time faculty at The University of Calgary and Springfield College. She is also a fellow in the Center for Reflective Community Practice at M.I.T. She is the author of numerous articles and book chapters, primarily focused on the application of multicultural knowledge in various workplace and educational settings.

  Dr. Rita Hardiman, Senior Consultant
   
  Dr. Rita Hardiman has a broad range of consulting experience with organizations throughout the US, including Fortune 25 companies, federal, state and local public agencies, colleges and universities and professional organizations. The focus of Dr. Hardiman’s work with organizations is on the management of diversity. She has guided client organizations through long-term change efforts, conducted numerous training programs, and consulted with managers at all levels of organizations.

Dr. Hardiman received an Ed.D. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Organization and Management, Antioch/New England Graduate School, in Keene, New Hampshire and at the School of Education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. Dr. Hardiman is a member of the Organizational Development Network, and the American Society for Training and Development. She has published articles on managing diversity in the workplace, racial identity development, and multicultural organizational development. She is one of the designers of the Multicultural Organizational Development Assessment Model and Survey.

  Imani Romney-Rosa
   
  Imani Romney-Rosa is a trained mediator and workshop facilitator. She is also a member of the Romney Associates Board of Directors. Ms. Romney-Rosa began her study of mediation as a junior high school student and served as a peer mediator during her high school years. Since then she has gone on to expand her education and training experiences to include academic tutoring, mediation facilitation, and cultural competence training. She specializes in topics regarding gender, sexuality, youth issues, and cross-cultural communication. Imani has a Master's Degree in Spanish Philology from Middlebury College and is currently on the faculty at the Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn, New York.

  Sudha Wadhwani, PsyD.
   
 

“HAP, Inc. – the Region's Housing Partnership, has employed Sudha Wadhwani for cultural competence consultation and case review for the past several months. We are extremely pleased with her work. Our homeless family shelter staff, and the staff from our transitional housing for domestic violence victims have told us they have learned a lot from Sudha.

She has given them a general understanding of cultural competence skills primarily through specific case consultations, which has helped them directly apply their learning. The staff have found her very easy to share cases, and ask questions. Sudha’s excitement and commitment for this work has also infused a real sense of the meaningfulness for the staff.”

Dr. Wadhwani is a diversity trainer and diversity consultant with Romney Associates. She has conducted trainings and workshops in a variety of organizations and presented at numerous conferences around topics of diversity. Dr. Wadhwani is also a licensed psychologist in private practice and on staff at the Mount Holyoke College Counseling Service where she serves as Multicultural Coordinator.

She obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology where she was awarded the Robert D. Weitz Award "for commitment to professional psychology and the community." Sudha has obtained advanced training at Cambridge Health Alliance, Harvard Medical School. Her specialties include working with individuals, groups, and organizations in building multicultural competency. In addition, Dr. Wadhwani has specialized interest and training in acculturation and adjustment challenges faced by international populations.
